Album Number One |
I purchased my first copy of "I Don't Know What I'm Doing" as a digital download on October 8th, 2008, exactly one month after he released "Out of It" (Sept. 8th). I bought it on Magnatunes which functioned from 2003 to 2024, matching the release of Brad's 1st and 5th albums. I don't think it means anything, but I do think the strange time alignments are kind of fun.
Since Brad knows what he's doing, all the songs are excellent, but I think "Making Me Nervous", "I think I Started a Trend", and "Overreacting" are some of my favorites. I got a T-Mobile G1 (HTC Dream) as my first smartphone shortly after I got the album, and I used the chorus from "Time to Take Out the Trash" as custom audio for my garbage night reminder alarm. Somewhere along the line of new phones I transitioned to a regular alarm sound. I think I switched because at one point the phone I got made it difficult to use custom music. Maybe I should bring it back just for fun.
