I am preemptively rating this album "10/10 No Notes", because Brad does good work and I'm just going to trust him this time.
I got the digital download yesterday, but I didn't have time to listen until today (Thanksgiving in the US). My preemptive rating holds up of course. I'm not sure if I hear a difference because I know there is one, but I feel like you can tell that this album is a whole band and not just Brad. It's not a huge difference, they are Brad's songs, but I think they sound a bit more "live" for lack of a better word. Four of the tracks are on the "Loss Leader" demos collection, so the album feels more familiar on first listen than previous releases. Now that I've had time to listen to the album a bit I can say that "In Trouble" is like an additction, like an additction, like an addiction, "Naturally" on "Naturally" is naturally a banger, "Over and Over and Over" will have you looping, and "Feeling Pretty Good" wil have you doing just that.
