Christmas was good.

Just been working on finishing up my Noctica stuff so I can hopefully start the new year focusing on adding a few more artists.

Mood of the Day: Blarg.

Have been playing around with my image grid stuff, just having some fun seeing what I can/can't do. Did manage to get the notes for the Dysphoria EP updated to something better. Still need to work on the artist notes though.

I've finished up the bulk of my christmas shopping so I can stop worrying about that and focus on other things. Have a house project to finish, then cleaning, and finally decorate for the holidays. Hopefully that will all be done this week. Then maybe I can quit procrastinating on website stuff. It's not like I've quit working on the site, but I've been doing low effort things in small chunks, which may continue until the new year honestly. I want to add some more artists, but I really need to finish up Noctica’s stuff before adding more new stuff.

I've just been putting it off because Noctica has turned out to be less about my love of a great artist and her work and more about my mental health journey. I've been trying to figure out how explicit I want to be about certain things, and even if what I eventually post is very vague and sanitary I still have to sift through all that wreckage to create the content. It can be difficult and exhausting to do, and I just haven't had the mental space for it with everything going on. The holiday stuff is mostly just time consuming and distracting, but work has been unusually busy and stressful the last couple of months, and of course the mental health journey really sucks it out out you. Yes, I'm making forward progress and in some ways I feel better, but I'm still working through stuff and I'm feeling pretty beat-up and tired.

I want to do some more research and development on my image grid idea for the home page. With the separate color schemes I've added to each section, I'm not disliking the home page setup right now, but I still think it could use a little sparkle. As I add more stuff to the home page, I think I'll like the current setup less. And mouse over effects can just be fun. We'll see what I can come up with and go from there.
