Got a bit of a sunburn yesterday working in the yard all day, but I did manage to get a small area completely finished. The next area I want to do is quite a bit bigger; it will probably take a few days to complete. And I think I’ll need to pick up some weed barrier to finish it. I dislike plastic or even fabric weed barriers. They are great at keeping weeds out for a while but when you need to work in an area, it is always a nightmare to deal with. So, even though it's not as long lasting, I prefer to use biodegradable barriers. I've been making use of cardboard boxes that would just end up in the trash anyway, but I don’t think I have enough left to do the area I want to cover. And some of what I want to do will require a bit more flexibility than the boxes have anyway. It’s just that I like reusing stuff whenever possible, and "free" is nice too. t Free in the sense that I’ve already paid for the stuff. t This is so cool. So, when I’m telling stories, I tend to go on tangents. Some are way off topic, and some are barely more than asides. I also do this when writing, but I edit them out as I rework things because I like concise writing. However, I’ve been thinking about adding “optional” tangents that would be hidden and not distract from the main text for a while now. I just had to get the idea worked out and this is my first (and second) tangent!

So I did more yard work yesterday. Spent about 5 hours getting 4 loads of free mulch to use around the yard. Then I spend a few more hours finishing an area with the mulch and some rock borders. The work I did last weekend was prepping part of the area where I wanted to use the mulch. Still have more areas to get cleaned up, but I have the mulch now. However, I did do a little work on the site today. I fixed an issue with videos in the new section for mobile. Not that anyone but me visits on a mobile device. It's more about trying to make my site adequate all around and learning how to do it.

Still got website burn out. The To-Do list just can't keep my attention, think maybe I'll switch gears and try doing a bit of work on the tribute for Poe and/or Pacifica. Although this weekend I did yard work on Saturday and kind of overworked myself so I just did a few things around the house on Sunday.

Got a bit of website burn out. I've been trying to work on the To-Do list, only every time I tried to work on it, I just couldn't get invested. I didn't work on the site all weekend; didn't even use my computer on Saturday and only watched a few YouTube videos on Sunday. Played some video games and watched TV instead.
