This is my internet place, where showcase artists I like and generally discuss whatever tickles my fancy. Please take a look around, I hope you enjoy your stay.
Content Warning: There may be swearing and discussion of serious topics like trauma, depression, and suicide.
Under Construction: This is an artisanal, handcrafted website. I don't even use a graphic editor to create the HTML, I write every bit by hand. I work on it whenever, and continually edit and revise parts of it right here on the live site. I could be doing it right now.
Can you tell me how you really feel?
I usually perform in costume and character as Gus the Bard, so this song is a little out-of-pocket for me. I have created a home for myself and my family here in Minnesota, and what’s been happening has left me angry, heartbroken, and unable to stay quiet.
GTFO is a folk-punk / Irish rebel song written in response to ICE activity in our community, the murder of Renee Good on Jan. 7th, 2026, and the lies that followed from our government. The titular line was inspired by the words of Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, who in the wake of these events publicly called on ICE to "Get the f*ck out of Minneapolis!"
It’s a song about grief, anger, and refusing to accept violence and fear as normal.
This version of GTFO was brought to life with the help of local Minnesota musicians:
Chris Murphy: Lyricist, Lead Vocals, and Acoustic Guitar
John Meilner: Banjo, mandolin, bouzouki, and backup vocals
Matthew Sudduth: Bass, baritone horn, and backup vocals
Micahjosiah "MJ" Borreson: Lead Guitar and backup vocals
Kyle Holder: Drums and Percussion
Izzy Schroeder: Violin
Joscelyn Buchwald: Vocals
Adonteng Akore: Backup Vocals
Robb Hollyday: Himself
Recorded at Dastardly Records in Minneapolis, MN in January 2026. Recorded, mixed, and mastered by: Erik Foote & Bryan Steenerson.
